General notes for all releases
The examples.zip file has been restructured so that each
chapter's examples are in a subdirectory. For example, you'll find the
Chapter 6 examples in the directory ch06.
The examples.zip file contains a README file that contains
detailed instructions for getting the examples going.
Mac OS X
The Mac OS X install guide has been updated. The latest release is
available in PDF format (30 June 2004, v1.1)
Microsoft Windows
The install guide in the 2nd edition is the latest, current edition.
Linux
The install guide in the 2nd edition is the latest, current edition.
